The Legality Rating is a measure introduced in 2012 applicable to Italian companies. Its aim is to promote and introduce principles of ethical behaviour within companies by assigning a rating on compliance with law provisions by the companies that have applied for such rating and, more generally, on the degree of attention paid to the proper governance of their business.
An adequate legality rating – conventionally measured in ‘stars’ – awarded by the Italian Competition Authority will be linked by law to advantages in terms of public loans and facilities being granted for access to bank credit. Ratings range from a minimum of one ‘star’ to a maximum of three ‘stars’, which will be awarded by the Authority on the basis of the declarations made by the companies and verified through cross-checks with the data held by the public administrations concerned.
The experience gained, the constant growth and the need for continuous improvement led Quid Informatica to obtain the award on 11 May 2016 (reference RT2240) and a 2-star+ rating. The Rating was confirmed on 5 September 2018 for a two-year period and then again on 2020 and 2022 with the 2-stars+ rating.
